Homework


For Your Information,

Today the children have brought back their maths books for you to see their work. Please take a moment to look through their books, sign and date it on the label provided.

The children have had spelling words from their science and maths topics, which they wrote in their planners earlier on this week.

Maths - Negative numbers

They need to be able to explain-
What an integer is?
What is a positive number?
What is the value of zero?
What is a negative number?
When are negative numbers used in real life?

Science - Solids, Liquids & Gases.

What are solids, liquids & gases?
How does solids, liquids & gases change state? ( Heating & cooling).

Please use the Cambridge documents available on the school website to extend your child's learning and discussions at home.

Literacy

Please continue to read AR books( daily and sign the books.) at home with your children as they are eager to take more than one test a week to improve their vocabulary and extend their access to the curriculum.

Last week saw us given the cup for the Best Class for good behaviour and straight lining up for the school monitors. We were very proud and went out for a class photo to commemorate a Very Special achievement for everyone!

But look what got Benedita's attention............What is she looking at?

Oh dear! right in the middle of the photo shoot they all turn round to have a look at a WORM! Good to know that we knew the right thing to do when we see animals in our locale environment LEAVE THEM ALONE! Well done 3J!
